Farewell Morgana

Another kitty has her wings.  This time it was my mother's cat, Morgan.

About 18 years ago I was given a cute black and white kitten as a present.  Not only are you never supposed to do that but you also shouldn't buy one from a pet store.  So she had two strikes against her but how could you resist falling in love with this face.
It's the Crawford-like birth mark that just made her adorable.  Soon afterwards she moved with me into my new apartment.  I got another kitty, an orange tabby, from a farm litter.  One thing lead to another and...
She had a litter of four.  They were born in that apartment very early one morning right beside my bed.  The cuteness meter was pegged on high.

Then I bought a house which wasn't going to be ready right away.  The kitties and I had to move into my parents house for a couple months.  The kittens grew fast.  Morgan's personality changed.  She became very noisy.  Something about motherhood changed her into a bitch.  Three of the kittens found new homes.  One went with me into my new house and Morgan got left behind.

Once again she became a gift, this time for my parents.  It's a wonder my mother still speaks to me.  It was a rough start but Mogan enjoyed her new home and became quite spoiled.  Karma caught up with me when her son became as noisy and demanding as she did.

Morgan you will be missed.  We'll remember you in our hearts and ringing eardrums.
